We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive the successful execution of projects. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives, this role will manage the end-to-end project delivery, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and meet defined requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience managing software development projects and working with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and iterate the research, planning and production processes in a manner that is clear to the internal development team
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and resource planning to ensure on-time delivery and clearly communicate the status of major milestones
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, operations and business teams
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project execution aligns with technical and business objectives
  • Ability to identify and resolve project issues and make data-driven decisions
  • Understanding of business needs and how software applications can support them

Budgets, Utilization and Timeline:

  • Support the utilization tracking of the development team and coordinate/collaborate across regions as well as business lines
  • Manage scope and hours to ensure our team is delivering high quality digital products on time and on budget
  • Be consistent with process and documentation at the program/project levels
  • Manage contingency allocation on projects. Contribute to sharing contingency across projects where needed.
  • Provides regular status updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders (Senior Leadership Team, Tech Leads, etc.)

Relationship Building and Clear Communication:

  • Build meaningful, empathetic and long lasting relationships with your team and across disciplines
  • Build meaningful, empathetic and long lasting relationships with clients and external stakeholders (where applicable - this may depend on project type, size and role composition within the team)
  • Create conditions on projects that motivate and optimize others' learning and performance
  • Lead and support on relevant internal formal and informal initiatives that may warrant a different PM approach or process related approach
  • Facilitate meetings and problem solving


Requirements


We want you to succeed so you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical project/program management within software development
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools
  • Experience in leading multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of development constraints, technical risks, and technical interdependencies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities


Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year

Please note that the base pay offered may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, geographic location, as well as business and organizational needs.
