Job summary

Onni is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-family residential developments in Vancouver. You will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination while guiding project scope and resources from planning through completion.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction PM, with concrete tower experience as a plus, and a track record in process development and delivery. Onni offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of construction-related project management experience in multi-family residential projects.
• Full build concrete tower project experience is an asset.
• Direct work experience in a project manager capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Experience overseeing multi-family projects.
• Project Management education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules.
• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines.
• Reporting, and updating directors of project schedule.
• Complete the tendering process for contract awarding.
• Assist in the overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors and employees.
• Project resource allocation from internal and external resources.
• Project documentation, communication, and reporting.
• Conduct consultant meetings.
• Cost estimating, and budget development in collaboration with senior team.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.

What Will You Do?

Scheduling

• Developing, tracking, and maintaining project schedules
• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines
• Reporting, and updating directors of project schedule

Management and Leadership

• Complete the tendering process for contract awarding
• Assist in the overall planning and defining of project scope for all subcontractors and employees
• Project resource allocation from internal and external resources.

• Conduct consultant meetings
• Cost estimating, and budget development in collaboration with senior team.

Quality Control

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans if required

Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving

• Help oversee project team including Project Coordinators and Superintendents
• Ensure the project is built on a budget, on schedule, and on drawing specifications.
• Work with the Leasing team to help develop budgets and timelines for potential tenants.

What You Bring

• Minimum 8+ years of construction-related project management experience in mutli-family residential projects
• Full build concrete tower project experience is an asset
• Direct work experience in a project manager capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Experience overseeing multi-family projects
• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset
• Project Management education is an asset
