Job summary

BDN Construction in Toronto seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead retail and restaurant commercial projects up to $10M, managing budgets, schedules and teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within safety standards.

You will coordinate with clients and subcontractors, apply Procore for financial tracking, and drive project plans from scope through closeout, with PMP preferred and a track record of high-value deliveries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, specifically within commercial construction.
• Proficient in Procore and construction management systems.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

As a Senior Project Manager , you will be responsible for managing projects up to $10M, overseeing budgets, schedules, and teams to deliver high-quality results. You’ll ensure our clients’ satisfaction by maintaining an unwavering focus on quality, cost, and safety throughout every phase of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of retail & restaurant commercial projects, from planning to execution.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure financial and schedule controls are maintained.
• Work with Procore for project management, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements on-site.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of experience in project management, specifically within commercial construction.
• Proficient in Procore and construction management systems.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) is preferred..
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle high-value projects and met tight deadlines.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contract terms with clients and subcontractors effectively.
• Base Salary: $140,000 to $160,000, depending on experience.
• Performance-based bonuses, paid quarterly, tied to project margins and client satisfaction.
