Job summary

BDN Construction seeks an experienced Estimator to support pre-construction budgets and tendering in Toronto, with occasional travel across Ontario project sites.

You will work closely with the project management team to ensure budgets and estimates are accurate, reflecting client expectations, while developing cost reports and supplier negotiations. This role emphasizes detail and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Strong background in retail and restaurant projects.
• Familiarity with Procore and estimating software.
• Experience with ProEst, PlanSwift, or other estimating tools.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Pay: CA$75,000 - CA$90,000 per year, based on experience.

The Estimator will be a key player in our pre-construction phase, managing budgets and assisting in project bidding. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure that all budgets and estimates are accurate, helping to maintain the financial integrity of the projects.
