Job description

Description

Join our team and what we’ll accomplish together

Our Corporate Real Estate team is at the forefront of TELUS's real estate evolution, managing a dynamic portfolio that now spans global operations. As a Sr. Project Manager, you'll be the strategic connector between business unit stakeholders, construction teams, and our people—translating complex needs into executable plans while safeguarding financial performance and creating exceptional workplace experiences. You'll own high-impact projects that shape how our teams work, collaborate, and thrive across multiple geographies.

What you’ll do
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex real estate portfolios, managing full project lifecycles and cross-functional dependencies
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into strategic, actionable plans that align with corporate objectives
  • Drive financial performance through rigorous budget management, variance analysis, and cost reporting
  • Proactively mitigate risks and navigate competing priorities to ensure projects remain on track and meet quality standards
  • Enhance workplace experiences by ensuring deliverables align with both organizational strategy and user needs
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while overseeing on-site construction to ensure delivery excellence
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Project Management, or a college diploma with progressive relevant experience
  • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or complex cross-functional settings
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and translating complex needs into actionable plans
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, variance analysis, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, mitigate risks, and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and a resilient, proactive problem-solving mindset
Great-to-Haves
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with global real estate portfolio management or international project delivery
  • Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range: $86,000-$136,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, even if the posted salary range doesn't match your expectations. We're open to discussing competitive compensation packages tailored to your experience level and expertise. TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:

  • Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
  • Flexibility to work in-office, virtually or a combination of both
  • Generous company matched pension and share purchase programs
  • Opportunity to give back to communities in which we work, live and serve
  • Career growth and learning & development opportunities to develop your skills
  • And much more …
