With manufacturing facilities in Toronto Ontario, Maxxit specializes in design assist, project management, and fabrication of innovative interior and exterior architectural solutions.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Project Manager, Architectural Elements will oversee the planning, design, and execution of metal architectural products projects from start to finish. This includes managing the project timeline, budget, resources, and team members to ensure that project goals are achieved on time and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and that quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Architectural elements include specialty ceilings, walls, architectural décor, and would be designed / manufactured from multi materials such as (metal, wood, felt, glass etc.).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; manage project timelines to ensure that project goals are achieved within the allocated time frame and budget.
  • Coordinate project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders, to ensure that project requirements are met and that quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders on a regular basis, and develop mitigation plans to address any potential risks or issues.
  • Ensure that project documentation is complete and accurate, and that project deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage project changes, including scope changes, and communicate the impacts of these changes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that customer expectations are aligned with project goals and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets and expenses and work with finance and accounting teams to ensure that project financials are accurate and up to date.
  • Continuously evaluate project processes and identify areas for improvement; implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Post Secondary degree/diploma in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in project management with a multi material manufacturing background.
  • Knowledge of architectural design, engineering, and construction processes.
  • Knowledge of wood, metal, and other materials manufacturing processes.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and team members.
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and is driven to surpass goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets and expenses.
  • Proficiency in project management software, Smartsheet or working towards a PMP designation would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel as needed to project sites.
  • Valid drivers license.
