Job summary

RBC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead 2-3 Agile squads delivering online and mobile capabilities within Digital Wealth Management, coordinating across IT teams and business stakeholders.

You will manage dependencies, drive risk and issue mitigation, and ensure delivery against the roadmap while upholding Agile standards and delivering high-quality outcomes for Direct Investing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project or program management experience.
• At least 3 years managing Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent squads or cross-functional teams.
• Strong risk and issue management capabilities with mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 Agile squads and ensure delivery against sprint goals and roadmap.

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate 2-3 Agile squads with online and mobile deliverables within RBC's Digital Wealth Management department, supporting the Direct Investing business. You will be responsible for integrating work across squads and other IT departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing risks and issues effectively against the delivery roadmap.

What will you do?

• Squad Leadership & Coordination: Oversee and manage multiple Agile squads, ensuring delivery against sprint goals and product roadmap commitments

• Cross-Departmental Integration: Facilitate collaboration and dependency management across multiple development teams

• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; establish escalation protocols and resolution strategies for blockers and issues

• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to business and technical stakeholders; manage expectations and communicate status, risks, and changes

• Delivery Excellence: Drive adherence to Agile methodologies, timelines, and quality standards; optimize team velocity and remove impediments

• Process Improvement: Monitor team performance metrics and implement continuous improvements to delivery processes

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

• 5+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 3 years managing Agile/Scrum teams

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent squads or cross-functional teams

• Strong risk and issue management capabilities with proven mitigation strategies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-have:
