Job summary

Allmar Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a complex multi-million dollar project over the next three years.

You will align with organizational goals, manage resources and risk, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget across Canada. You will mentor junior PMs and coordinators, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, and contribute to best practices in project management.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in the Canadian market or regulatory environment is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process-improvement certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and maintain project records.
  • Mentor junior project managers and coordinators to enhance skills.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes.

About The Role

The Senior Project Manager will lead a complex multi million dollar project through completion, over the next three years. Ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations, this role requires strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success and foster continuous improvement. They will also mentor/lead junior project managers and coordinators and contribute to the development of project management best practices within the organization. Ultimately, this position is critical in delivering high-quality outcomes that support business growth and operational excellence across Canada.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget.
  • At least 5 years of Door and Hardware experience is required
  • AHC designation is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing projects within the Canadian market or regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.

Compensation will include variable bonus to be included based on benchmarks achieved throughout the duration of this project.

This project is associated with our Red Deer Branch. Location can be Calgary, Red Deer or Edmonton, with requirement to visit site.
