Become their next senior project manager in Montreal.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will perform the following tasks and responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the various members of the team, supervise and train the assistant project managers.
2. Read contracts and annotate them so that they reflect our submissions.
3. Read the relevant documents (structural plans, specifications, geotechnical study, and any other relevant document) used to establish the price and estimate in order to take ownership of the project and understand its scope, technical and monetary issues, and potential problems.
4. Establish a work schedule jointly with the superintendent and revise it as necessary throughout the project to adjust with the client and management.
5. Draw up with the superintendent the list of materials, equipment and labor required for the execution of the project.
6. Coordinate delivery/manufacturing of materials with the superintendents and ensure that the superintendents and site foremen receive the materials at the right time.
7. Discussion with the superintendents on the progress/issues/solutions.
8. Validate daily reports and entries of accounting codes (equipment and labor) related to the projects.
9. Approve invoices related to the projects and ensure monitoring of project costs; profitability studies every month.
10. Document, sort and organize daily site activities, correspondence with the client and professionals.
11. Administer costs, risks, human, financial and material resources.
12. Ensure compliance with all health and safety measures and report problems.
13. Take responsibility for work results and the results of other collaborators on the project.
14. Ensure compliance with standards and laws in force (permits, subcontractors, provisional acceptance and end of contract).

Required skills and qualities:

1. BAC or DEC in Civil Engineering.
2. At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
3. Knowledge of deep foundations a great asset.
4. Holder of the ASP construction card.
5. Knowledge of AutoCad software (asset); Mastery of the Office suite.
6. Have team spirit, excellent communication and actively participate, through your attitude and behavior, in developing and maintaining a respectful, harmonious and stimulating work atmosphere for all.
7. Rigor, structure, analytical skills, solution mode, attention to detail and integrity.
8. Carry out your tasks and responsibilities efficiently and with the desire to perform well.
9. Travel to construction sites required.
10. Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
