Are you experienced in the execution phase of mining projects?

Do you have 10+ years of Project Management experience?

CSG are currently partnered with a leading EPCM who have projects across the globe. They take mining and construction projects from concept, through planning all the way to operations. This role will require the successful candidate to be based in Western Canada and work within their Vancouver office.

The Senior Project Manager will be reporting into the VP Projects and will be responsible for a portfolio of projects from small initiatives to EPCM mandates. They will provide analytical and project management support for various programs and projects to be delivered safely, on-time, and on-budget with a strong focus on the execution phase.

Duties of the Senior Project Manager include-

• Lead development of a detailed project schedules and budgets and ensure these plans respect all health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Drive exceptional outcomes of all aspects of project scope including planning, engineering, procurement / contracting, construction, and / or hand-over.
• Communicate effectively as required in meetings, presentations, formal letters, progress reports from weekly progress meetings to board presentations.
• Responsible for managing EPCM style mandates and integrated owner's teams.

Required qualifications and skill requirements-

• Experience on the execution of Projects.
• Proven Project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Mining experience is essential.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.
• Experience on the EPCM side.
• Spanish speaking is an asset.
