Zusammenfassung

Discovery Kidd is seeking a Superintendent, Operations & Maintenance Projects to lead and deliver operational, maintenance, infrastructure and capital projects at Kidd Operations. Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance & Engineering, you will drive safety, reliability and performance.

You will manage scopes, schedules and budgets, coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement and contractors, and mentor project teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering or technologist/technician diploma preferred.
• Three years of mining, maintenance, operations, engineering, or project execution experience.
• Strong understanding of project controls: scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors across multiple departments.

Aufgaben

• Promote safety, health, environment, and community objectives.
• Lead and develop project teams with clear expectations for safety and quality.
• Manage operational and maintenance projects from scope to handover.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement and contractors to develop practical plans.
• Establish and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk registers.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and implement recovery plans as needed.
• Ensure changes are documented and approved via change management.
• Provide regular project updates on progress, costs, and risks.
• Support reliability improvements through root-cause analysis and maintenance strategies.
• Oversee contractors to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
