Job summary

Discovery Kidd Operations seeks a Maintenance Services and Project Engineering Supervisor to coordinate project execution and on-site maintenance at Kidd Operations. You will schedule engineers and technicians and coordinate with contractors on major projects to keep work on time and aligned with goals.

You will ensure staffing, equipment, and materials are ready, oversee field activities, safety and quality, and prepare estimates, capital requests, bids, and technical specifications as required.

Qualifications

• Strong project management background with knowledge of engineering design and project scheduling.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction management is asset.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Technical report writing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Safety-conscious with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• University degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a technology diploma is preferred or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee project execution and site maintenance services on-site.
• Schedule engineers, technicians or skilled trades for inspections or repairs with contractors.
• Ensure staff, equipment and material readiness to complete work on time and to Discovery expectations.
• Interface with field workers, clients and third-party service suppliers to ensure smooth field operations.
• Prepare estimates, capital requests, presentations, specifications and bids.
