Job description

Sitka Gold Corp, through its exploration partner Fox Exploration, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Project Geologist to play a key role in advancing the RC Gold Project in Yukon. The RC Gold Project is one of Canada’s most exciting new gold development stories, and Sitka plans to significantly advance the project with up to 60,000 m of drilling planned for 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site management of the Company’s field programs, including oversight of core logging, QA/QC procedures, sample flow, health and safety protocols, permit compliance, and cost tracking.
  • Interpret and model geological data using Leapfrog and other relevant software.
  • Apply geological interpretations and models to support real-time planning and execution of drilling programs.
  • Compile data and prepare written and oral presentations summarizing program results.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BSc in Geology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in drill core logging, QA/QC procedures, sampling protocols, data interpretation, and drill program management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with logging and geological software such as Leapfrog, Geospark, QGIS, ArcGIS, and IOgas.
  • Experience with Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (IRGS) or porphyry gold systems.
  • Valid Standard First Aid certification.
  • Yukon First Line Supervisor Certification, or ability to obtain prior to the 2026 field season.
  • Willingness to work in a remote location on a rotational schedule.
  • Registration as a P.Geo or GIT.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
