Job summary

Trans Mountain Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead coordination for the MVCSUP and Westridge Marine Terminal. You will ensure technical alignment, planning, and reporting across multiple teams to support safe, compliant, and efficient terminal operations.

The role requires strong engineering coordination, design review, and stakeholder communication, with involvement across environmental, regulatory, and operations interfaces at the Westridge facility.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary engineering degree with mechanical or chemical focus.
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility to obtain registration in Alberta/BC.
• PMI-PMP certification is preferred for project leadership.
• 7+ years in engineering/project-delivery across energy/industrial sectors.
• Ability to review calculations, drawings, specs and vendor documents.
• Knowledge of codes, design assurance, MOE and change management.
• Strong facilitation, writing, communication, and stakeholder skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and BI tooling (Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in MVCSUP delivery, coordinating scope and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design through FEED to handover to operations.
• Develop design criteria, calculations, drawings, data sheets and specs.
• Oversee studies on vapour systems, emissions, and lifecycle reliability.
• Plan design reviews, risk assessments, and action tracking to closure.
• Provide technical oversight of consultants, bids, and vendor docs.
• Support cost estimates, schedules, procurement strategies, and regulatory tasks.
• Assist field execution with technical issue resolution and field changes.
