Job summary

Trans Mountain Corporation in Calgary is seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Pipeline Mainline Optimization Project (MOP). You will drive the pipeline scope, schedule, and budget to increase Line 2 capacity from 540 kbpd sustainable to 805 kbpd sustainable, with 840 kbpd sustainable during winter.

Early In Service targeted for early 2029, with Full Service by mid-2029. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating engineering, construction, commissioning, regulatory, and operations,

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registration with provincial associations (APEGA or APEGBC).
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project delivery.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Oil & gas Midstream experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pipeline workstream for the Mainline Optimization Project, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning, regulatory, and operations activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide day-to-day direction to project managers, engineers, contractors, and support teams.
• Oversee contractor scoping, bidding, evaluation, and performance in collaboration with Supply Chain.
