CIMA+ is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead municipal land development and water/wastewater projects across Alberta, Saskatchewan and beyond. You will mentor staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

The role offers a hybrid work model with options to work from home and in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver offices. You will manage budgets, schedules, client relationships and contribute to new business development while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta and/or Saskatchewan.
• Minimum 10 years of directly applicable experience with land development and/or municipal clients.
• Proven track record of business development and fostering client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Integrity, team spirit, and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams through all phases of project planning, design, construction, and commissioning of municipal projects.
• Be supported by technical experts from multiple disciplines to deliver projects successfully.
• Manage project resources, schedule, budget, quality management and project risk.
• Prepare and supervise studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents.
• Provide subdivision review and comment services for municipal clients.
• Lead pursuit of new projects, including scope, schedule, budgets and teams.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and agencies; coordinate with regulators and stakeholders.
• Mentor intermediate and junior staff in project delivery and management skills.
