Job summary

Graham Construction in Toronto is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support the Infrastructure Division. You will define and document processes, provide strategic support to project teams, and monitor risks to improve project execution.

Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Manager, you will manage budgeting, scheduling, and document management, while delivering KPI insights and value across major North American projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Project Cost Control (General Contracting).
• Degree or diploma in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with EAC/ETC, Cost Variances, Commitments and Cost Exposure, Change Management and Earned Value.
• Preferred software experience: InEight cost management, P6 and schedule/cost integration, Risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Risk – Support Quantitative Risk Analysis/Assessments with Project Controls Manager and team.
• Standardize Processes – Implement project controls systems and procedures.
• Project Controls Planning – Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and document management.
• Monitor Project Performance – Identify issues, drive improvements, escalate as needed.
• Provide Expert Guidance – Present KPIs and provide strategic data-driven advice.

Graham is actively recruiting for a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support the Infrastructure Division. Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Manager, this role defines and documents processes, provides strategic support to project teams and monitors risks to improve project execution.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

• Manage Risk – Work with the Project Controls Manager and Project Team to support Quantitative Risk Analysis/Assessments when needed.
• Standardize Processes – Support the implementation of project controls systems and procedures.
• Project Controls Planning – Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and document management.
• Monitor Project Performance – Identify issues, drive improvements, and elevate when needed.
• Provide Expert Guidance – Support project teams with accurate data, presenting KPIs and providing strategic advice.

The Right Tools for the Job

• Education: Degree or diploma in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 7+ years in Project Cost Control (General Contracting).

Compensation

• Salary Range $125,000 to $155,000 per annum
• Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
• Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
