Job summary

FLINT Corp. in Alberta is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, planning, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects.

You will partner with Operations, Finance, Estimating, and clients to deliver accurate performance information, drive governance, and support effective decision-making. This role emphasizes leadership and strategic oversight.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressive project controls experience in large-scale industrial or EPC projects.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Experience providing governance and strategic direction for project controls across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all project controls functions including cost management, forecasting, scheduling, earned value analysis, change management, and performance reporting.
• Develop, implement and improve project controls standards, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Mentor and support Project Controls teams and advise Project Managers and Operations.
• Monitor performance against budgets and schedules; produce executive-level reports and dashboards.
