Job summary

You will mentor a project controls team, align with project managers and senior leadership, and guide governance through stage gates, assurance reviews, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of project controls on large-scale capital projects with team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, earned value management, AACE classifications, scheduling tools.
• Proven ability to implement new tools, technologies, processes, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Leadership style that supports mentoring, collaboration, accountability, and relationship-building.
• Strategic, innovative, and adaptable mindset for high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a project controls team across cost, planning, risk, and change management.
• Design and implement efficient project controls processes, workflows, and standards.
• Deploy AI-enabled tools and digital systems to improve performance and insights.
• Lead cost management activities including budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee estimate development aligned with AACE classifications.
• Direct schedule development, baseline management, and risk analysis.
• Ensure robust change and risk management processes and mitigation planning.
• Partner with project managers and senior leadership to provide performance insights and governance.
