Job summary

Amico, a Canadian-owned construction company, seeks a seasoned Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, scheduling, and documentation for major infrastructure projects in Ontario. You will partner with Project Manager and Construction Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in project cost control or lead roles, a post-secondary degree, and familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Primavera P6, and cost-estimating tools. PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in project cost control or lead roles.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in project management, finance, or business.
• PMP designation preferred or actively pursuing.
• Experience managing large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost management activities, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ensure robust cost controls across the project team; monitor variances.
• Coordinate schedule, document control, and resource allocation for projects.
• Manage contracts with prime/subcontractors and supplier agreements.
• Support procurement planning and tendering strategies; conduct risk assessments.
