Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Control Analyst to join its Project Services - Project Cost Control group, based in Terrace, BC (with possible offices in Vancouver, Kelowna or Victoria). You will drive project performance by tracking costs, progress and schedules throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with project managers, planners and technical teams to support structured, proactive decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project control on engineering projects.
• Experience in heavy industrial projects is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of EVM indicators (PV, EV, AC, CPI, SPI).
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, baselines, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for data modeling and tracking.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, Power BI, InEight or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Track costs, progress, and schedules across the project lifecycle.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to measure performance.
• Prepare and maintain forecasts (EAC/ETC) with project managers.
• Produce integrated cost/schedule/progress analyses and identify risks.
• Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support change management affecting costs and schedules.
• Ensure data quality and traceability in the systems used.
