Job summary

Desjardins Group in Montreal is seeking a systems and infrastructure development, operations and maintenance programmer-analyst for a 12-month temporary position. You will analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain and upgrade software products in line with business needs.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, lead teams in adopting technology solutions, document methods, and help optimize systems through rigorous analysis and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise teams on using technology to develop business solutions and improve delivery velocity.
• Develop highly complex execution strategies, analyze, design and document business products and solutions.
• Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests) while applying best practices.
• Establish and draft development methods and design patterns, procedures and IT choices.
• Lead documentation writing teams to prepare and deliver training to peers and users.
• Collaborate with business partners and architects to standardize solutions.
• Identify system optimization opportunities while considering impact.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve highly complex operational problems during major incidents.
• Represent teams in dealings with executive management, partners and outside organizations.
