We are seeking an experienced Senior Programmer Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
  1. Complete service requests related to the technical support of production systems including fixes, changes, enhancements and maintenance.
  2. Follow change management procedures, and other policies and work processes when completing service requests.
  3. Liaise with users to gather and analyze requirements and to determine appropriate solutions for changes and enhancements to production applications.
  4. Collaborate with business clients and other support teams to establish automated test plans.
  5. Recommend, design and implement technical and functional solutions to client requests.
  6. Create and modify code, screens and reports according to published standards and considering the Information Management and Information Protection requirements for the system.
  7. Develop/maintain secure application code that may be integrated with other customized or commercial software programs.
  8. Create and modify forms, manuals, programs, data files, procedures and other documentation for systems and/or applications.
  9. Verify accuracy and completeness of changes by preparing test plans and sample data, and testing them by means of unit, functional, integration, system and user acceptance testing.
  10. Complete quality and peer reviews as required, to ensure high quality technical deliverables and documentation.
  11. Assist with the implementation and secure integration of applications including Vulnerability Assessments and Transition Procedures.
  12. Document status and time on assigned tickets in ticket management system.
  13. Provide subject-matter expertise on projects to upgrade and migrate the applications.
