Your opportunity:
The Department of Continuing Dental Education (CDE) develops and delivers programs for dentists and dental professionals using face-to-face, online, hybrid, and HyFlex methods. It also manages remedial courses for dentists needing skill upgrades and explores international collaborations. The incumbent will oversee operations and project management for these activities and supervise administrative staff.
Your responsibilities:
- Oversee program and workshop delivery
- Manage logistical details for events and programs
- Research and recommend new collaboration opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key contacts
- Facilitate outreach initiatives
- Implement program improvements and standards
- Produce promotional and outreach materials
- Supervise administrative staff
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in program coordination in education or related fields
- Experience with bookkeeping and budgeting
- Proficiency in MS Office and databases like MS Access
- Skills in designing and proofreading marketing materials
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage projects
- Diplomatic and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple demands and work under pressure
- Leadership skills for supervising staff
- Willingness to work occasional weekends
Assets (Nonessential):
- Experience in Continuing Dental Education
- Familiarity with portals
