University of Toronto Entrepreneurship (UTE) is part of VPRI, fostering ideas, people, social impact, and technologies through a network of accelerators. The Black Founders Network (BFN) within UTE aims to support Black entrepreneurs at all stages, providing resources, networks, and programs.
Reporting to the BFN Manager, the BFN Program Officer will support the launch of BFN Scale cohorts, supporting Black-led companies with traction of $X,000 or more. Responsibilities include planning and executing events and programs to engage and grow the BFN community, with a focus on startups at the growth stage and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Previous entrepreneurial experience as a founder or in startups is a plus.
