Novara is partnering with Acerta Energy to source a Senior Production Engineer in Calgary. You will lead production engineering efforts, optimize asset performance, and mentor junior staff across field operations and projects.

Responsibilities include surveillance, analysis, workovers, and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across Production, Reservoir, Facilities and Operations teams. Strong technical leadership is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or related).
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
• Minimum 5 years of production engineering experience in Western Canada.
• Experience in production optimization, decline curve analysis, and artificial lift.
• Experience planning and executing workovers and well interventions.
• Strong safety, regulatory, and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production surveillance and optimize asset performance daily.
• Analyze trends, downtime, and well performance to guide decisions.
• Develop and implement optimization strategies for lift and facilities.
• Plan and manage workovers, recompletions, and interventions.
• Prepare technical recommendations and manage budgets and schedules.
• Mentor Engineers-in-Training and junior staff; lead technical reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain engineering records.
