Position OverviewAs a Sr Product Owner, you will engage with our Product Management and Development Teams in a highly collaborative manner. Your work will be in the IT product development space, proposing solutions, creating better services and capabilities for our customers and for their customers in turn. You’ll also provide business and technology SME expertise and serve as the bridge between the business and the technology.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate between Product Management and Development teams
  • Requirements elicitation: Apply different techniques to facilitate meetings and workshops, create a shared understanding with stakeholders
  • Requirements analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to decompose large epics into user stories that can be understood, estimated, developed, and tested by members of the development team.
  • Gather and define functional and non-functional requirements
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting artifacts (context diagrams, mockups, etc.)
  • Assist product management with prioritization and backlog grooming.
  • Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review/Demo, Retrospective
  • Contribute to product & release documentation
  • Build trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members
  • Proactively support the uplift of Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 5 years relevant business analyst experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment and participating in all Agile / Scrum ceremonies
  • Must have hands on experience with Merchandising solutions
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills
  • Hybrid work; remote from home and in office as necessary

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with ERP Systems and Allocation & Replenishment Solutions
  • Experience with Jira or Confluence
  • Retail experience with head office functions – Product Management, Purchasing, Allocation and Replenishment, Inventory Control, Pricing, Invoice Matching

  • Analyse des exigences : Collaborer avec les parties prenantes pour décomposer les grandes épopées en récits utilisateurs compréhensibles, estimés, développés et testés par les membres de l'équipe de développement
  • Recueillir et définir les exigences fonctionnelles et non fonctionnelles
  • Créer des récits utilisateurs, des critères d'acceptation et des artefacts de support (diagrammes de contexte, maquettes, etc.)
  • Assister la gestion produit dans la priorisation et la gestion du backlog
  • Participer et animer les cérémonies et rituels Agile pertinents : perfectionnement du backlog, réunions quotidiennes, planification de sprint, revue/démonstration de sprint, rétrospective
  • Contribuer à la documentation des produits et des versions
  • Instaurer la confiance et le respect, établir des relations et développer des relations avec les membres de l'équipe, techniques et non techniques
  • Soutenir proactivement l'amélioration des pratiques Agile et favoriser une culture d'amélioration continue

Qualifications

  • Licence en informatique, systèmes d'information, commerce ou domaine connexe
  • 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en tant qu'analyste d'affaires dans un rôle similaire
  • Expérience de travail dans un environnement Agile dynamique et participation à toutes les procédures Agile/Scrum
  • Expérience pratique des solutions de merchandising requise
  • Excellente maîtrise de l'anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral
  • Compétences souhaitées
  • Expérience préalable des systèmes ERP et des solutions d'allocation et de réapprovisionnement
  • Expérience avec Jira ou Confluence
  • Expérience en vente au détail avec des fonctions au siège social : gestion des produits, achats, allocation et réapprovisionnement, contrôle des stocks, tarification, rapprochement des factures
