Job summary

Grainger Canada is seeking a Senior Leader to drive Merchandising & Supplier Management Reporting & Operations from our Thornhill, ON office. You will oversee product data, pricing, costs, and supplier performance to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will develop analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making, while building and coaching a high-performing team in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, product management, engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years experience including 3+ years leading large matrixed teams in data-driven environments.
• Experience in continuous improvement, project management, operations, or technology.
• Experience using Tableau/PowerBI, SQL, and Smartsheets.
• Expertise in data governance, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, change management, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success in leading analytics programs that influence business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Merchandising & Supplier Management Operations and optimize processes.
• Partner with Finance, Pricing, Compliance, Product Information, Taxonomy and Inventory teams to optimize product setup and data.
• Develop and deploy analytics solutions, reporting tools, and applications for cross-functional initiatives.
• Measure performance, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Enable self-service analytics through training and user support.
• Oversee data governance and enterprise data architecture improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
