Job summary

Avidbots Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the platform roadmap for Neo, Neo 2W, and Kas. You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure products ship and perform in real-world environments.

You will drive discovery, define requirements, and align commercial strategy with product execution, while balancing reliability, cost, and serviceability in a fast-paced robotics context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with hardware/embedded software experience
• Experience owning a physical product lifecycle and roadmap decisions
• Technical fluency to engage with mechanical/electrical/embedded engineers
• Experience owning pricing, positioning, SKU, and sales enablement
• Strong written communication for roadmaps and business cases
• Comfort with incomplete data and accountability for decisions
• Willingness to travel ~20–25%
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Waterloo Region; on-site role

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-quarter roadmap for Neo, Neo 2W, and Kas with clear sequencing and rationale
• Collaborate with engineering management on release planning and issue escalation
• Maintain a single prioritized backlog across platforms balancing new capability, cost, reliability
• Partner with VP Product on long-term platform strategy and translate to quarterly work
• Write clear, testable product requirements for Engineering
• Run discovery with facility managers, contractors, and partners
• Turn field data and warranty feedback into prioritized product decisions
• Define acceptance criteria with QA and Engineering for ship readiness
• Lead NPI collaboration with Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Define commercial readiness: positioning, pricing inputs, SKU/config structure, ROI, sales enablement
• Coordinate deployment readiness and spares strategy with Customer Success and Field Service
• Run launch and post-launch reviews and assess misses
• Define and track metrics for each platform for quarterly reviews
• Build business cases for major investments and present to executives
• Support Sales on strategic accounts and RFPs
