Job summary

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) seeks a seasoned technical product manager to define strategy for complex fulfillment problems, shaping requirements with stakeholders and collaborating with researchers to apply AI and computer vision. You will own large-scale programs driving customer satisfaction and cost reductions, while mentoring TPMs and partnering with senior leaders across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and roadmap for solving complex, ambiguous problems in fulfillment operations.
• Partner with customers and stakeholders to shape requirements and specifications for new product offerings.
• Collaborate with scientists to apply AI, including computer vision, at scale.
• Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs improving customer satisfaction and reducing costs.
• Lead cross-team initiatives uniting disparate teams around a single outcome.
• Communicate initiative status and strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Engage with executives, principal engineers, managers, scientists, and product owners to resolve contentious topics.
• Invent mechanisms and metrics turning ambiguous initiatives into measurable impact.
• Understand system architectures to challenge engineering teams and foster simplifications.
• Dive deep into data or code to uncover opportunities and problems.
• Mentor TPMs and engineers and contribute to talent development.
