We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a product in our Generative AI Advice Centre portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and delivery of generative AI products. You will work at the intersection of AI and financial services, leveraging innovative technologies to create user-centric products.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Product Development:
    • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality generative AI products;
    • Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly products;
    • Conduct user research and testing to understand user needs and pain points, using insights to inform product development;
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with Borealis and RBC's broader objectives;
    • Identify market opportunities and define the product roadmap, focusing on innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies to solve real-world problems;
    • Set ambitious objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement;
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Borealis and RBC, fostering collaboration and alignment towards a shared vision;
    • Influence and inspire cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless product execution;
    • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress effectively to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and buy-in;
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
    • Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new ideas;
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to integrate AI advancements into your strategy;
    • Champion a test-and-learn approach, promoting experimentation and the use of data to drive decision-making.
You're our ideal candidate if you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus;
  • 5+ years of experience in a top-tier technology company, with a focus on AI or machine learning products;
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a track record of successfully shipping products in an enterprise environment that drive business impact and customer satisfaction;
  • Strong background in AI technologies and their application in product development, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and influence multiple groups towards a shared vision;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
  • Deep customer empathy and a user-centric approach to product development;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
