Your mission, roles and responsibilities
As part of the FCE Software & Ecosystems Business Unit, the SaaP team specializes in building software products and bringing them to market, either by contracting directly with OEMs or through alternative distribution channels, working with third-party software vendor partners.
The Product Manager will be responsible for executing our product strategy and roadmap based on the existing product portfolio, defining the output of our Innovation and Development teams, and gathering market feedback.
Travel to customers and tradeshows will be expected to leverage expertise in positioning software products in a B2B environment.
With a hands-on approach, the Product Manager will define products and roadmaps, pitch them to customers, and work closely with Innovation & Development teams on new product definitions.
The role also involves providing market insights to the global team and participating in defining team orientations regarding product definition, roadmap, promotion, and sales activities.
What will you do
Help shape the product roadmap by defining the product vision at a global scale, prioritizing features, and measuring success to ensure alignment with company strategy and technology.
Deliver new product definitions, manage the product portfolio based on market understanding and measurable metrics.
Define metrics for product quality, market penetration, and overall results, and report regularly to leadership.
Communicate with the SaaP team and advise on product strategy, licensing, and progress.
Support sales channels for our software products and their deployment at customer sites.
Survey the industry market, assess competition, and network with customers and partners through visits, workshops, tradeshows, and events.
Participate actively in product roadmap activities such as requirements writing, customer feedback collection, and marketing oversight.
