Job summary

SOTI, based in Mississauga, ON, seeks a Senior Product Manager to own the product line life cycle, advocate for customers, and drive end‑to‑end execution across engineering, UX, QA, and marketing. You will shape product strategy, define requirements, and partner with sales to enable successful adoption.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and a technical background in enterprise IT or networking, plus 5+ years in product management. Hybrid work model with some travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of product management experience in enterprise software or SaaS.
• 2+ years in a senior-level role preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
• Proven success in launching and managing scalable products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Technical fluency in networking, enterprise IT, or telecommunications a plus.
• Experience with Android, Mac OS X, Linux, Windows Server is a plus.
• Willingness to travel; valid passport.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering; graduate degree a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Authoring detailed product requirements and user stories; collaborating with Engineering, UX, QA, and Marketing to ensure successful execution.
• Collaborating closely with Sales and Support teams to enable successful customer adoption, including creating training material and supporting key customer engagements.
• Driving product positioning and go‑to‑market plans in collaboration with Marketing, ensuring consistent messaging and value articulation.
• Mentoring and guiding junior product managers or cross‑functional contributors, fostering a strong product‑thinking culture.
• Acting as a product expert in executive briefings, customer sessions, trade shows, and conferences.
• Staying up to date with competitive product landscapes, technological advancements, and evolving customer needs.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 5 years of product management experience in an enterprise software or SaaS environment, with 2+ years in a senior‑level role preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in launching and managing innovative, scalable products.
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills—comfortable influencing across levels and departments.
• Technical background or strong technical fluency, especially in networking, enterprise IT, or telecommunications.
• Ability to collaborate and lead in a matrixed, cross‑functional team environment.
• Strong prioritization, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; graduate degree is a plus.
• Experience with Android, Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows Server is a plus.
• Completion of Pragmatic Marketing (now Pragmatic Institute) training is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events; valid passport required.
