Job summary

AutoTrader.ca, a Canadian leader in digital automotive solutions, seeks a Lead Product Manager to own the Website & Digital Retail portfolio in Toronto. You will drive strategy, roadmap, and performance, serving both vehicle shoppers and dealerships.

You will lead discovery, define requirements, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, and commercial teams to deliver measurable dealer value and improved conversion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management with customer-facing ecommerce or transactional websites.
• Shipped and optimized shopping journeys with measurable improvements.
• Strong judgment on mobile UX, CMS, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility.
• Experience with qualitative research and web analytics, funnels, and A/B testing.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear requirements, user stories, and roadmaps.
• Experience with APIs, catalog data, pricing, and third‑party integrations.
• Led product teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Connect product decisions to adoption, monetization, and cost to serve.

Responsibilities

• Define the portfolio strategy, vision, priorities, and roadmap.
• Improve the shopping funnel across search, detail pages, payments, and financing.
• Lead discovery and experimentation with research and A/B tests.
• Gather requirements, write user stories, and manage backlog with teams.
• Improve site speed, SEO, accessibility, and reliability.
• Evolve dealer platform with CMS, merchandising, and configs.
• Coordinate across inventory, pricing, CRM, marketplace, and financing.
• Drive modernization, phased launches, and dealer migrations.
• Define and track conversions, lead quality, adoption, and revenue.
