Job summary

Centah Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Product Designer to simplify and improve user experience across our SaaS home services platform. You’ll deliver concepts from sketches through testing, partnering with product and engineering to create an exceptional interface.

Your portfolio should demonstrate end-to-end design, strong Figma workflows, and a collaborative mindset. This role supports hybrid work, offering flexible arrangements and opportunities to shape Centah’s design language.

Qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing your design process from research to high-fidelity, responsive design.
• Expertise in modern Figma workflows (Auto-layout, Components, Variants, Properties).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across product and engineering teams.
• Ability to translate user research into actionable design decisions and maintain consistency across components.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the project lifecycle, brainstorm concepts, design user flows, and meet deadlines.
• Own core component libraries and evolve the Centah design system.
• Champion visual quality across components from buttons to data tables, ensuring accessibility and brand alignment.
• Conduct user interviews and internal reviews to identify usability improvements and inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility and balance constraints with timely delivery.
• Prioritize UX debt by understanding information architecture and system mapping.
• Synthesize requirements from multiple sources into concise, elegant designs.
