Job summary

Andgo seeks a senior Product Designer to join as an independent contractor, remote in Canada with time overlap. You will lead AI-first design initiatives, work with the Product Manager and engineers, and report to the VP of Product.

Expect to advance the design system and collaborate across teams to reduce friction in complex health-systems workflows. You’ll contribute to discovery, design strategy, and end-to-end product design, blending research with pragmatic decisions in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product design, with end-to-end discovery to shipped product.
• Strong interaction design and systems thinking for complex workflows.
• Mastery of visual design with dense information interfaces.
• Pragmatic judgment balancing quality and delivery constraints.
• Influence across Product and Engineering through clear reasoning.
• Track record of joining work mid-stream and delivering quickly.
• Comfort with deep domain complexity: workforce management or scheduling is a plus.
• Strong facilitation and research skills, including in-person sessions.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-driven features and AI-assisted workflows.
• Design system experience: building components, not only using them.
• Clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives for AI-first platform and core product.
• Rethink workflows to reduce friction for frontline and back-office users.
• Design how AI features present confidence and errors to users.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers in an AI-enabled workflow to carry design intent to build.
• Contribute to building and refining the design system.
• Plan and run discovery sessions, synthesize findings, and write follow-up summaries.
