Base pay range

$40.00/yr - $47.00/yr

6 month contract + possible extensions

Pay: $40-47/hr T4

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered digital experiences

• Experience designing and shipping accessible products at scale

• Strong proficiency in Figma for creating high-fidelity visual designs

• Experience applying interaction design principles, including user flows, journey maps, and wireframes

• Experience conducting and synthesizing user research using both generative and evaluative methods

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and advocate for design

Nice to haves:

• Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated industries

• Familiarity with AODA requirements and inclusive design practices

• Experience with design systems and contributing to scalable pattern libraries

• Experience tracking product KPIs and using performance metrics to inform design iterations

Insight Global is looking for a Product Designer to join the Digital Health team at a large Canadian retailer. This team is focused on building innovative, accessible digital experiences that improve how Canadians manage their health. The Product Designer will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to create solutions that are informed by data, inclusive by design, and impactful at scale.

This is a highly cross-functional role that blends design research, interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and driven by meaningful product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on discovery and goal-setting activities to define user problems and business objectives

• Lead interaction design efforts to create user flows, wireframes, and service blueprints

• Produce high-fidelity designs that align with product goals and brand tone

• Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms

• Conduct and synthesize user research and post-launch analysis to inform product improvements

• Apply inclusive design and accessibility principles to reach diverse users

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to balance technical feasibility and stakeholder needs

• Present work clearly and thoughtfully, incorporating feedback and aligning teams toward shared outcomes
