Job summary

Next Level Games, a Nintendo subsidiary, seeks a Senior Producer in Vancouver for a hybrid role. You will lead cross‑disciplinary teams to align creative vision, technical execution, and production targets, guiding features from concept to launch.

You will partner with leadership to shape development strategy, manage milestones and sprints, and proactively mitigate risks. Three days per week in our Vancouver studio are required during the in-studio phase.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading large, cross-functional game development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of game development production pipelines, processes, and tools.
  • 6+ years working on console or PC titles from concept through launch.
  • Hands-on game development experience is an asset.
  • Strong communicator with exceptional leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build alignment across creative, technical, and production stakeholders.
  • Passionate about making great games and enabling teams to do their best work.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

We are looking for a Senior Producer to join our team at Next Level Games! In this key role, you’ll work closely with cross-disciplined teams to ensure alignment between creative vision, technical execution, and production targets.



  • Project Management:Lead multi-disciplinary teams and track the development of features and assets from concept to creation; Manage development schedules, resources, and budgets and ensure development stays on track and within scope.

  • Strategy and Planning:Support the Leadership team in setting the development strategy, and planning Milestones and Sprints; Hold the team accountable to timelines, estimates and goals.

  • Problem Solving:Apply hands-on knowledge of game development and work closely with creative and technical leads to solve challenges and deliver high quality results.

  • Risk Management:Proactively identify risks and roadblocks; Devise mitigation strategies and support the team to find solutions and keep development moving forward.

  • Communication and Collaboration:Coordinate with the production team and craft experts to ensure timely hand-offs and effective cross-discipline communication.

  • Processes and Workflows:Leverage project management expertise and past production experience to assist in establishing and continuously improving development workflows and processes.

  • Publisher Communications:Provide regular status updates and facilitate the flow of information and feedback between the development team and the publisher.

  • Team Health and Morale:Ensure work is appropriately scoped andfostera collaborative environment where team members are motivated and capable of delivering their highest quality work.

This is a hybrid role, with the first three months fully in‑studio. After that, there is flexibility to work from home, with a requirement of three days per week in our Vancouver studio.


The hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
