The Canadian Banking Transformation Office plays a critical role in advancing strategic priorities, improving how the business operates, and enabling scalable, sustainable change across products, channels, operations, and support functions.

The Transformation Office partners with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to drive business transformation, simplify end‑to‑end processes, improve productivity, strengthen governance, and enhance client and employee experiences. The team works across Canadian Banking to identify opportunities, design future‑state solutions, and support execution of high‑impact initiatives that contribute to the Bank’s long‑term growth, efficiency, and operational resilience.

The Process Excellence consultant supports the delivery of Canadian Banking's transformation agenda by leading Canadian Banking Operations initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, client experience, employee experience, and operational resilience across key business operations processes. Working closely with business, technology, risk, and control partners, the role drives end‑to‑end process mapping that supports improvement, operating model enhancements, and sustainable transformation outcomes.

We are seeking Senior Process Experts to lead end‑to‑end operational process improvement across the bank. These individuals will work independently with VP‑level and above stakeholders, driving alignment, redesigning complex processes, and enabling adoption of new ways of working. This role requires deep process expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to operate confidently in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.

  • Support the development of business cases, benefits estimates, and recommendations to support decision‑making.
  • Develop and deliver executive reporting and presentations for relevant project/initiative governance forums.
  • Manage related workstreams within initiatives and workstreams, including risks, dependencies, milestones, and benefit realization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and data‑driven decision making across Canadian Banking.
  • Identify opportunities and ensure the optimal sequence of waste elimination, automation & AI, and improved ways of working during process redesign.
  • Act as a change agent to ensure the adoption of redesigned processes and new capabilities.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in process excellence, business transformation, operational improvement, consulting, project delivery, or related roles. Expertise in end‑to‑end process mapping, redesign, and optimization.
  • Experience working in banking, banking operations, financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business challenges, identify opportunities, and implement practical solutions that deliver measurable results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Whiteboard and process mapping tools such as Visio or Blue Works.
  • Experience developing executive presentations, dashboards, and reporting.
Nice‑To‑Have Skills
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt, process excellence certification, or change management experience considered an asset.
Soft Skills Required
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
  • Strong decision‑making, forward‑thinking, forward thinking and creative problem‑solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
  • Execution‑driven - Proven ability to take ownership, push work forward, and deliver high‑quality results on schedule and on budget.
