Our Tier-1 Commercial Banking client is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Project Manager to take ownership of two in-flight projects focused on service transformation and process optimization.

This business-side role requires an articulate, proactive PM who can bring structure to delivery, challenge assumptions, anticipate risks and work effectively with business owners who require guidance on project management practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, practical problem-solving and the ability to move work forward with minimal direction.

The role also requires sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with technology teams, including familiarity with APIs, system interactions and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of two in-flight projects, quickly understanding their objectives, status, dependencies and outstanding issues.
• Manage project plans, milestones, actions, risks and reporting across business and technology stakeholders.
• Pressure-test plans, assumptions and commitments to identify gaps and ensure delivery expectations are realistic.
• Anticipate risks, implement mitigations and resolve issues proactively, escalating when appropriate with clear recommendations.
