Job summary

JPMorganChase in Toronto seeks an experienced accounting professional to join the Private Equity finance team. You will manage books, NAVs, capital calls, and quarterly investor reporting in line with US GAAP for investment funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in an accounting role, preferably at a Big 4, PE firm or fund administrator.
• Knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds and familiarity with Private Equity fund structures.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/maintain the books and records of Private Equity funds and GP vehicles.
• Prepare and/or review NAVs and financial reporting packs.
• Prepare and/or review capital call and distribution calculations.
• Manage release of capital notices and quarterly reporting on investor portals.
• Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to meet SLA timelines on deliverables.
• Adhere to internal control framework and coordinate with auditors and tax teams.
