Match Group in Vancouver seeks a Senior Privacy Counsel to lead global privacy initiatives across AI, data regulation, and cybersecurity incident response. You’ll partner with product and security teams to translate complex laws into actionable compliance programs and guidance.

You’ll work on cross-border regulatory matters, privacy-by-design, and governance playbooks, while joining a close-knit global privacy team in a hybrid office setting three days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience focusing on privacy, cybersecurity, AI and/or technology law.
• Experience advising on cybersecurity incident response and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of GDPR, PIPEDA, US state privacy/cybersecurity laws; ability to handle cross-border issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cybersecurity matters as part of incident response team.
• Monitor and operationalize emerging privacy, cyber, and data laws worldwide.
• Advise product/engineering on privacy-by-design and data workflows.
• Develop and maintain internal guidance, policies, and playbooks.
• Support audits, assessments, and cross-functional governance initiatives.
