Job summary

RBC is seeking a Pricing Manager within Shared Services for Data Service Delivery. You will lead a team of Pricing Analysts handling security pricing, client instructions, and valuation support across global systems.

You will verify pricing data, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements while collaborating with pricing suppliers and internal partners. Strong communication and finance knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and support to Pricing Analysts team.
  • Respond to client inquiries to maintain company image and retention.
  • Verify and confirm pricing data with suppliers meeting tolerance levels.
  • Ensure procedures, policies and compliance are followed.
  • Analyze and approve reports for pricing activities from centralized databases and custody platforms.
  • Research alternate price data sources for non-exchange securities.
  • Keep pricing data up to date and identify pricing requirements.
  • Assist with training, streamline processes and staff management.

Job description

What is the opportunity?

Shared Services - Data Service Delivery (DSD) provides security Masterfile as well as pricing data to RBC Investor Services (IS) core business systems globally. The activity is covered on a 24/5 basis through a Follow the Sun model.

What will you do?
  • To provide direction and support to a team of Pricing Analysts focusing on security pricing and client instructions which impact valuations, and client statements.
  • Provide a high level of service by responding to all client inquiries within a reasonable timeframe in order to maintain the company's image and strengthen client retention.
  • Responsible for verifying and confirming with pricing suppliers and other pricing sources all pricing data not meeting the required tolerance levels of the entire database.
  • Ensure existing procedures are followed and kept informed on all policies and compliance issues.
  • Responsible for analyzing and approving all reports generated for all pricing activities from a centralized database as well as individual custody platforms.
  • Research, review, and analyze alternate sources other than the existing pricing suppliers for price data on non-exchange and thinly traded securities residing on the database.
  • Ensure DOP's are kept up to date and all pricing requirements to meet client needs are identified.
  • Additional responsibilities include training, streamlining processes where required and staff management.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
