Job summary

Ontario Power Generation is seeking a dynamic Manager, Portfolio Strategy and Investment Risk to lead risk management across the OPG pension and related funds. You will work with the FMG and investment teams to identify risks, model scenarios, and influence strategy at the portfolio level.

Strong analytical and communication skills are required, along with experience with data-driven dashboards and governance materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a finance or related field; master’s preferred.
• CFA designation or Level 3 candidacy is desirable.
• 8+ years of experience in portfolio, investment or risk management, buy-side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio risk, liquidity & cash flows with dashboards and insights.
• Coordinate portfolio rebalancing and cash management activities.
• Assess risk/liquidity drivers and recommend mitigation actions to stakeholders.
• Verify and reconcile risk, liquidity and portfolio data for integrity.
• Apply quantitative methods to generate risk and liquidity insights.
• Develop risk, liquidity, and portfolio tools using databases, APIs, Power BI and AI tools.
• Prepare stakeholder materials and governance documents; support policy reviews.
• Build cross-functional relationships with internal/external partners.
