Job summary

Travelers Capital Corp. in downtown Calgary is seeking a Manager, Portfolio Management to oversee a book of asset-based loans and leases across Canadian and U.S. borrowers.

You will monitor performance, manage collateral, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. This hands-on role requires 3+ years in portfolio management, strong credit judgment, and the ability to coordinate across cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in portfolio management for commercial loans or asset-based lending.
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or related field.
• Strong credit, collateral judgement and risk awareness.
• Ability to liaise with US/CAN borrowers and counsel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-closing monitoring of the investment portfolio.
• Onboard new files and set up reporting with borrowers.
• Prepare portfolio-level reporting for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with counsel and trustees on documentation and enforcement.
• Identify emerging risks and propose mitigations to senior leadership.
