Job summary

Dana Canada Corp. is seeking an experienced maintenance/automation technician to support production goals by performing installations, calibrations, and repairs of automated equipment.

You will collaborate with engineers to identify inefficiencies and validate corrective actions. You will train junior technicians, maintain records, and uphold safety and quality standards while supporting new product launches with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in automation or maintenance.
  • High School Diploma, Trade School, or Associate's Degree.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and automation knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee advanced equipment installations, calibrations, and repairs to support production goals and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify inefficiencies, implement corrective actions, and validate process changes through testing and data analysis.
  • Train and guide junior technicians and production staff on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical activities, process changes, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and internal procedures.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product launches, resolve technical issues, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
