Job summary

Magna New Mobility, a Magna International business unit, seeks a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead the Core Platform across 120+ global plants. You will own platform architecture, drive reliability, security, and scalable API-driven services while guiding multiple engineering teams and senior engineers.

You will collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Executive teams to shape multi-year roadmaps, ensure compliance, and optimize deployment velocity in a global, cloud-native

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading managers of engineers (2+ years).
• Experience owning large-scale distributed systems or platform orgs.
• Experience with cloud-native systems and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term technical strategy for the Unified Factory Platform.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and coaching of leaders.
• Ensure uptime, performance, and security across global deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, Deployment, and Executives to align roadmaps.
