Qualifications

• 8+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering with ownership of platform capability.
• 8+ years of Azure experience in an enterprise environment (Entra ID, governance, Key Vault, etc).
• 5+ years operating production Kubernetes across clusters/regions (Istio or similar).
• 5+ years progressive delivery (canary/blue-green).
• 4+ years Terraform and CI/CD, reusable modules.
• 4+ years GitHub Actions reusable workflows with approvals/OpenID.
• 2+ years GitOps with Flux CD/Argo CD.
• 2+ years Python, Bash, YAML, containers.
• 2+ years observability and policy as code (New Relic/Datadog, SLO/SLI).
• Experience building solutions using large language models (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments with change-management and audit.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate CD/CI for Azure Kubernetes Service with GitHub Actions and Terraform modules.
• Own and improve shared CI/CD workflows and reusable Terraform catalogs.
• Turn platform requests into self-service capabilities with guardrails and docs.
• Design and test highly available solutions across Azure regions.
• Automate regional failover and chaos experiments to validate recovery.
• Integrate observability, SLOs/SLIs, release gating and rollback into delivery.
• Ensure secure delivery paths via Azure Policy and in-cluster controls.
• Develop AI-assisted platform tooling using Model Context Protocol and agent frameworks.
• Incorporate approval gates and auditability for AI-assisted platforms.
