Job summary

Octave in Calgary seeks a Technical Product Manager to own end-to-end delivery of AI-powered platform solutions across industrial sectors. You will translate domain knowledge into scalable agent-based workflows, drive platform roadmaps, and collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver repeatable, safe deployments.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executives, and a track record shipping

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical product management or product ownership role for industrial B2B software.
• Experience shipping AI/ML-powered products at enterprise scale.
• Ability to take a solution from concept to launch.
• Domain expertise in EPC/EPCM, energy & utilities owner-operators, or public safety/infrastructure.
• Shipped production AI to users, including evaluation, quality, and safety work.
• Use of AI tools and workflows for day-to-day technical product management tasks.
• Technical depth to partner with engineering on agent frameworks and related architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and build net-new solutions end-to-end with requirements, acceptance criteria, and backlog.
• Build domain-specific solutions with product teams and drive productized platform output.
• Coordinate templates, reference workflows, and shared practices across teams.
• Grow library of agents and domain knowledge for platform reuse.
• Make autonomy and safety calls for regulated operations with governance and audit trails.
• Feed platform roadmap by translating solutions into capability requirements.
• Support commercialization with pricing, packaging, and GTM strategies.
• Equip delivery org with reference workflows and domain knowledge for easier onboarding.
