Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Sr. Planner/Scheduler to support project managers and engineering teams across diverse projects.

You will establish schedules, coordinate with cost control, and maintain updates to ensure on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of planning experience on large-scale engineering and construction projects, strong skills with Primavera P6, MS Project and TILOS, and fluency in English (French a plus).

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary engineering degree (PEO registration preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of planning experience on large engineering/construction projects.
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques (PMI-SP or AACE PSP preferred).
• Advanced skills with Primavera P6, MS Project and TILOS.
• Strong English communication; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identify scope, develop WBS and interfaces to meet procedures.
• Review scope with Project Managers to set interfaces, KPIs, targets and execution plans.
• Develop project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or TILOS.
• Coordinate with cost control teams to load resources and level schedules.
• Identify critical path, contingencies and conduct Schedule Risk Analysis workshops.
• Establish Baseline Schedules and monitor updates, report variances.
• Represent planning in client meetings and provide technical support on scheduling.
